The Ryde Rowing Club 100+ Club is the part of Ryde Rowing Club that is responsible for the majority of our Fund Raising.
This is through the 100+ Club itself plus various socials functions staged by the 100+ Club which produce income for the Club.
The RRC 100 + Club Rules are as follows -
RYDE ROWING 100+ CLUB. RULES.
1. The club shall be known as “RYDE ROWING 100+ CLUB”.
2. The primary aims of the “100+ CLUB” shall be to raise funds for “RYDE ROWING CLUB” and to allow members to participate in a monthly prize draw.
3. The “100 +” Club shall consist of a minimum of 65 and a maximum of 150 members. Such numbers shall be reviewed annually.
4. The annual subscription shall be £12 payable annually from the first day of each month of eligibility. Subscriptions to be reviewed annually.
5. The “100+ CLUB” year shall be from the first day of March to the last day of February.
6. Any person aged 18 may apply for membership. Membership of “RYDE ROWING CLUB” is not a prerequisite. Such applications shall be accepted at the discretion of the Hon. Secretary/Treasurer of the “100+ CLUB”.
7. Any members who falls in arrears with his/her subscription for greater than three months may be expelled at the discretion of the afore-said Hon. Secretary/Treasurer.
8. A member may resign by giving notice to the Hon. Secretary/Treasurer of the “100+ Club” in writing no later than one month prior to the date that his/her annual subscription may fall due.
Any members not giving such notice may be liable for the following month’s subscription.
9. The “100+ CLUB” profits will be made available for use by the Hon. Treasurer of “RYDE ROWING CLUB” at the discretion of the General Committee.
10. The Hon. Secretary/Treasurer of the “100+ CLUB” shall be nominated by the General Committee of “RYDE ROWING CLUB”
11. The reporting accountant of “RYDE ROWING CLUB” shall audit the accounts of the “100+ CLUB” annually.
100+ Club prizes.
Monthly draws are 2 x £25.
The Christmas draw is 2 x £25, 1 x £50 and 1 x £100.
The RRC 100 + club orgnises Fund Raising Events for Ryde Rowing Club.
These include “Bingo Night”, “Quiz Nights” and other events as well as monthly talk and Fish & Chip Supper at the Clubhosue from a Guest Speaker (February to November each year).

The money raised from subscriptions and the fish 'n' chip suppers gets put towards a wide variety of uses within the club, including new equipment, sponsorship and assisting with the purchasing of a new mini bus.
