6.00 - 8.30pm Thursday 14th April Water based session at Newport. recap of first evening, planning an outing – run through of safety and pre-outing preparation, starting people on the water – demonstration and practical session.
8.00am – 12.00noon Sunday 17th April Water based session at Newport. improving a novice crew demonstration and practical session. choice of topic based on local requirements, e.g. rigging a coastal boat, coxing, avoiding sports injuries, nutrition and healthy eating, coaching juniors. The course is supported by Wessex, South East Coast Regional Committee and the Isle of Wight Rowing Forum and is free of charge.
