Loss of Annual Regatta due to Southern Water Activities.

This Saturday (7th August, 2021) would probably have seen Ryde Rowing Club's host its Covid-19 delayed Annual Regatta from its Clubhouse in Appley Park and Appley Beach – but unfortunately this had to be cancelled because of the on-going activities of Southern Water in trying to repair the damaged overflow outfall which has caused much disruption to all those clubs and businesses in Appley Park.

Ryde Rowing Club has faced a considerable loss in income because of the cancelled Regatta and the general disruption to their activities and members and compensation has been sought from Southern Water.
