Charlie Watts, Ryde Open J18 Single Sculler competes at the British Rowing Junior Championships.

It was a busy few days for Ryde Sculler Charlie Watts who travelled up to the National Water Sports Centre at Holme Pierrepont, Nottingham to compete in the British Rowing Junior Championships – racing in the Open Junior J18 Single Sculls event - on Friday 17th July.

Although missing out on a final spot – against a lot of older opposition, he achieved a personal best time smashing last years’ time for the same distance by thirty second and is on track to do even better at next year’s event where he will get another opportunity to compete in the Open J18 Single Sculling event.
